Krasniqi beyond boxing!
Thursday, August 31, 2006
Luan has been recently featured in the fightnews.com headlines with the following title "Krasniqi making a difference!". Here is the article:

"Heavyweight contender Luan Krasniqi has passed many stages in his sporting and private life: he is fluent in eight languages, an interpreter, a wholesaler and a professional boxer. He is currently Germany’s most successful heavyweight and is a spokesman for many projects involving teenagers. Together with the Toto-Lotto GmbH (Lottery), the boxer from Rottweil started a campaign in which he warns of the danger of gambling. This is themed: “Don’t be your own rival – take some responsibility – give gambling no chance.” The managing director of Toto-Lotto Dr. Friedhelm Repnik sees in Krasniqi the best person for the campaign: “With Luan we have formed a powerful alliance against gambling and with his characteristics such as discipline and fairness he is the right person.” Krasniqi adds:” Teenagers are our future and we have to protect them wherever we can.” With another project “be fit not fat”, he is in the position of advising teenagers to keep active and not overlook their nutrition. In the region near his hometown, they are looking for advisors at over 50 elementary schools, people like Krasniqi. He feels very committed to Rottweil and wants to set an example by supporting this campaign. "
Obviously, Luan has a very busy schedule that is not necessarily attached to his boxing life.
